This is an intermediate level course aimed at those
who have taken up woodturning in their leisure time.
This is a two day course. Courses run from 10am to
5pm with tea/coffee breaks and lunch. The course is restricted
to three individuals each working on a lathe
which maximises hands on experience and teaching attention/guidance
tailored to each individual's needs.
The workroom is equipped with four indentical lathes to ensure
that each student gets the fullest possible benefit from the
course.
The course is being held in a fully insured workshop under the
guidance of an experienced wood turner.
Programme
Day 1:
Various types of boxes with the main focus on box
design and lid fitting.
